Overview
Our Sacred Valley Tour Cusco brings you on a journey through the lands most venerated by the ancient Incas. Here, you’ll explore the Willkamayu River (Sacred River), known for giving a clear view of the magnificent Milky Way in its reflection. Visitors will also view the vast fields of white corn and other crops, surrounded by spectacular mountains. Along the way, participants will be acquainted with the picturesque native villages of the region, rich in history, tradition, and cultural heritage.

We can arrange to pick you and your party up from your place of lodging, as long as it is located in the city center. Alternatively, you can meet your guide at the Cusco Main Square (Plaza de Armas).
What To Bring on the Sacred Valley Tour Cusco
Personal Documents: Bring your passport and/or other form of identification. Also, make sure to have the necessary tickets or vouchers for the tour. If you have any questions about this, please ask your guide!
Money for All Occasions: (Preferably local currency – Peruvian Soles) Carry enough cash for entrance fees, snacks, and souvenirs. We want you to enjoy without worries, so have everything you need!
Camera, Light Clothing, Water Bottle, Sunscreen, Lightweight or Trekking Shoes, Sunglasses, Rain Covering (September-April is rainy season): It is important to be prepared for variations in weather. At high altitudes, sun protection is extremely important. Accordingly, be sure to bring a hat or cap. Also, bring layers so you’re able to adjust depending on the temperature, as it is quite hot during the day, and becomes quite cool in the evenings.
Tour Itinerary
- The tour begins with pick-up or meeting at Cusco Main Square at 6:30 am.
- Next, we will visit Moray, an archaeological site famous for its circular terraces believed to have been an agricultural laboratory for the Incas. A fascinating example of Inca engineering and ingenuity, this site provides insights into their agricultural practices.
- We will next head to the town of Maras to visit the famous salt mines, with more than 6000 ponds. This beautiful place is a must-visit in the Sacred Valley, as the salt from this location is considered one of the special ingredients in the preparation of various Peruvian dishes.
- After completing our exploration in Pisac, we'll return to Cusco by bus.
- 06:30 pm - Arrival in Cusco: We'll arrive back in Cusco and drop you off at the designated meeting point, concluding our Sacred Valley of the Incas tour.
