Overview
The Humantay Lake Tour is one of the most incredible ways to enjoy the beauty of the Peruvian Andes. The journey through the mountainous landscapes takes approximately 3 hours to reach Humantay Lake. During the trek, you can admire panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the majestic Salkantay snow-capped peak, as well as the local fauna and flora.

Camera, Light Clothing, Water Bottle, Sunscreen, Lightweight or Trekking Shoes, Sunglasses, Rain Covering (September-April is rainy season): It is important to be prepared for variations in weather. At high altitudes, sun protection is extremely important. Accordingly, be sure to bring a hat or cap. Also, bring layers so you’re able to adjust depending on the temperature, as it is quite hot during the day, and becomes quite cool in the evenings.

- Enjoy an Andean breakfast in Mollepata.
- Continue the journey to the starting point of the hike, called Soraypampa.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
