The Palcoyo Mountain Tour in the Cusco region of Peru offers a unique and captivating experience, allowing you to discover one of the most remarkable natural wonders in the region. We provide pickup services from your place of lodging, as long as you are located in the historic center of the city. Alternatively, your party may opt to meet your guide in the Cusco Main Square.
What To Bring on the Palcoyo Mountain Tour:
Personal Documents: Bring your passport and/or other form of identification. Also, make sure to have the necessary tickets or vouchers for the tour. If you have any questions about this, please ask your guide!
Money for All Occasions: (Preferably local currency – Peruvian Soles) Carry enough cash for entrance fees, snacks, and souvenirs. We want you to enjoy without worries, so have everything you need!
Camera, Light Clothing, Water Bottle, Sunscreen, Lightweight or Trekking Shoes, Sunglasses, Rain Covering (September-April is rainy season): It is important to be prepared for variations in weather. At high altitudes, sun protection is extremely important. Accordingly, be sure to bring a hat or cap. Also, bring layers so you’re able to adjust depending on the temperature, as it is quite hot during the day, and becomes quite cool in the evenings.
Tour Itinerary
- 4:30 am: We will pick you up from the establishment where you are staying as long as it is located in the historic center.
- 6:00 am: Arrival in the town of Cusipata, where a typical Andean breakfast will be served
Continuing the journey to the starting point of the hike, the picturesque community of Palcoyo.
- We will return to Cusco in an approximate 2-hour journey, concluding at your hotel.
